About Cross Street Chicken and Beer

It all began in 2017 when husband and wife Tommy Nguyen and Grace Chi opened Cross Street with their best friend and flavor master, Wilson To. Together, they offer a new take on traditional Korean fried chicken by marrying it with classic southern spices. The best of both worlds! Native to Convoy, San Diego, they wanted to give back to their community and create a place for locals to come by after work and enjoy themselves. A place with great food, great vibes, and great service.

About San Diego Food System Alliance

San Diego Food System Alliance is a diverse and inclusive community of leaders in San Diego County—farmers, fishermen, food business owners, workers, organizers, policymakers, funders, and residents—committed to building a food system that works for everyone. Together, we are working toward the goals and objectives in San Diego County Food Vision 2030, collectively outlined by our community.

We believe that changing the way we grow food, move food, share food, and think about food ultimately changes the way we treat the planet and each other.

About Asian Business Association of San Diego (ABASD)

Founded in 1990, Asian Business Association of San Diego (ABASD) represents the interests of over 30,000 Asian Pacific Islander (API) owned businesses throughout San Diego County. ABASD believes in building sustainable communities through inclusive economic development and a qualified diverse workforce.

About Pacific Arts Movement

We are part of a movement for positive social change that is building a voice and an audience for marginalized perspectives.

Originally founded in 2000 as the San Diego Asian Film Festival, Pacific Arts Movement (Pac Arts) has grown to become one of the nation’s largest media arts organizations dedicated to enriching the community through stories of Asia and its diaspora. Our mission is to inspire, entertain, and support a more compassionate society through the Pan Asian media arts. Pac Arts aims to serve the broadest audience possible to transform lives, expand people’s view of the world, and strengthen San Diego’s love of film and film culture.
