Elvin Lai Appointed To California Travel and Tourism Commission

Governor Gavin Newsom has appointed Elvin Lai of San Diego to the California Travel and Tourism Commission. Lai is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of MSG Hospitality Group, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at G4 Management, and President and CEO of Ocean Park Inn Hotel. A longtime hospitality executive and civic leader, Lai also serves on the boards of the San Diego Foundation, Sharp HealthCare, and the San Diego Tourism Marketing District. He also serves as Treasurer of the Asian Business Association Foundation.

In 2024, Elvin and his wife Nan Lai were honored with the Community Legacy Award at the Asian Business Association’s Annual Awards Gala for their work through the Lai Family Foundation and decades of commitment to community impact.
