About the event

The San Diego Imperial Valley Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network and SBCS (formerly South Bay Community Services) are proud to announce our Starting Your Food Business Program. This program is geared towards those looking to start a home-based food business, such as a Cottage Food Operation or Micro Enterprise Home Kitchen Operation (MEHKO), a mobile food business, catering, or Temporary Food Facility business (Farmer's Markets & special events). Classes will be held in-person at SBCS in Chula Vista: 333 Oxford Street, Chula Vista, CA 91911.


We highly recommend taking our on-demand Starting Your Business: A Step-by-Step Guide prior to enrolling in this course.


The 4-part course is outlined as follows:
