About the speaker: Omar Garcia

Raised in Southern California, Omar was inspired by the vibrant colors, cultural diversity, and infectious entrepreneurial spirit. What started as sketching famous logos in schoolbooks, turned into a profession - helping businesses bring their brands to life.

Omar's owl is a nod to the ancient wisdom of my ancestors. It serves as a reminder that design is about uncovering something timeless and unique.

When he's not in front of his screen, he's looking for the perfect cup of coffee and pan dulce combination to enjoy by the lake with his wife.

Omar also teaches identity design at San Diego City College.
