About the San Diego Regional Leadership Academy
The APAICS Regional Leadership Academy (RLA) is a two-day leadership training event for community stakeholders, individuals seeking to run for public office, current elected officials, and those with an interest in policymaking or social justice. The San Diego RLA will focus on individuals interested in pursuing elected positions in the San Diego area.
About APAICS
The Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) is a non-partisan, non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander participation and representation at all levels of the political process, from community service to elected office. Cost of Attendance
There is a small fee of $100 to attend the academy. Upon acceptance, program participants will be asked to pay this amount. The fee covers the entire training for both days as well as breakfast and lunch for both days, and dinner with attendance at a community reception after the Friday session of the training.
If you are unable to pay the $100, scholarship options are available.
