Jeni Burgess

Jeni Burgess is the VP Commercial Relationship Manager at Sunflower Bank. She focuses on thoroughly understanding each business's operations and financial needs. This involves assessing how they run their companies, identifying any gaps in capital or working capital, and analyzing their cash flow and money movement. Prior to joining Sunflower Bank, Jeni served as the Manager of Business Banking for the San Diego region at First Citizens Bank and also had a successful 20 year career with Wells Fargo Bank’s Business Banking team.  Her prior experiences include establishing small businesses, serving as the director of Bankers Small Business CDC, and as an SBA loan officers for a local bank and finance company. Jeni received the Avante Garde Award from the California Local Economic Development Organization and has been named U.S. Small Business Administration Financial Advocate of the Year.
