Position Summary

​

As Interim Chief Executive Officer (Interim CEO) at the Workforce Partnership your primary responsibility will be to create stability, be a servant leader and manage the business to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of workforce development services through the transition of hiring and onboarding a permanent CEO. You will be responsible for the management of the organization's resources, including personnel, finances, and programs to ensure the organization meets its mission and goals.

To be successful as an Interim CEO you should have a strong background in business operations, financial management and program management. You should also have excellent leadership and communication skills, and be able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including staff, board members, funders, and community partners. A passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to social justice and equity are also essential.

​

This is a temporary term role that will end when a permanent CEO is identified.

ABASD is part of the San Diego & Imperial SBDC Network. The network serves entrepreneurs and small businesses with low to no-cost services to support business growth.
