Suffolk’s Trades Partnership Series training development program for construction subcontractors

Attention Construction Trades:

The San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) is partnering with Suffolk Construction Company to offer Suffolk’s Trades Partnership Series training development program to construction subcontractors.  The program is designed for Diverse Businesses that are interested in cultivating long-term relationships with Suffolk.  The 1-week program is provided at no cost to selected participants.  Classes will be held at Suffolk’s San Diego office and tentatively scheduled to begin January 25, 2016.

At this time, SDHC is reaching out to Diverse Businesses to determine interest. If you meet the following eligibility criteria and would like to be added to the interest list, please contact Ena Walters at:

Eligibility Criteria

·         Licensed construction subcontractor

·         At least 2 years in business

·         Certified as a Diverse Business:  SB/SLBE/MBE/WBE/DBE/DVBE or Section 3 Business Concern

·         Note:  Suffolk is seeking all construction trades for participation; however, there is an emphasis on electrical and mechanical.
