SDCWA's Construction Management As-Needed Support Services (Opportunity Notification)

On behalf of Louis Berger I would like to inform you of the opportunity for small businesses to be on our team for a San Diego County Water Authority Construction Management As-Needed Support Services contract. We are looking to team with local small businesses that may be under represented or looking to grow.  


We’d like to request a list of your small business members who perform the types of services mentioned below so we can contact them to determine if they are interested in teaming with us.

Categories of Work:


  •          Construction Inspection
  •          Nondestructive Examination of welds/Field Welding Examination
  •          Geotech (Engineer services, reports and submittals, soil testing, material testing)
  •          Resident Engineer/Construction Management
  •          Electrical Engineering
  •          Corrosion Services


Type of Business/Certifications required:


  •          The business may be certified as an 8(a) Business, Small Disatvanged Business or Hub Zone Business by U.S. Small Business Administration or certified as a Disatvantanged Business Enterprise by CALTRANS or by one of the signatory agencies within the California Unified Certification Program or certified by any public agency utilizing the size criteria of 13CFR121, including the City of San Diego’s Diverse Emerging Vendor Outreach and Minor Construction certifications, Business Program certification, and the Water Authority’s SCOOP.
  •          A business certified as a Small Business Enterprise or as a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise by California State Department of General Services.
