SUMMARY OF POSITION

Warner Bros. Distributing Inc. seeks an Intern-Digital Marketing for the Digital Marketing department. This internship is designed for students interested in pursuing careers in marketing or related fields. The intern will be exposed to several facets of Digital Marketing, as well as WB Pictures Worldwide Marketing policies and procedures.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Create film teaser websites using Flash, graphic design and coding skills.

·         Build branded social media pages (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc).

·         Contribute to brain-storming strategies.

·         Assists department with other projects and duties as assigned.

·         Minimum 3 days per week required – 5 days preferred.

·         Students must be able to present online examples of their work in order to be considered.

·         Must be able to commit to at least 10 weeks of internship.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·         High School diploma or equivalent required.

·         Must be a currently enrolled college student, in pursuit of a BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media or related field.

·         Significant amount of completed study in online marketing particularly preferred.

·         Must be proficient with Flash, Action Script, PhotoShop, HTML, XML, JavaScript.

·         Knowledge of Flash and QuickTime video players and embedding code preferred.

·         Mac and PC proficiency required.

·         Must have a good eye for design and typographical layout.

·         Must have a good attitude and be able to function well with short deadlines and quick turnarounds.

·         High level of interest in film marketing.

Internship – Field Sales (Spring 2017)

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is seeking an undergraduate intern for our Field Sales team. This internship is intended to provide meaningful and practical work experience to an undergraduate student interested in Sales for the Home Entertainment Group.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·         The duration of the internship is approximately 9 weeks.

·         Product Detail Page Updates: optimization of amazon product detail pages:

o   Collect all relevant information for a predetermined list of titles from our internal database and marketing teams: synopsis, cast and director bios, trailers, clips, still images, reviews, ratings, related facts and movies/TV shows.

o   Check each of the product detail page on the site and audit that the changes have been implemented, report discrepancies.

o   Work with Amazon to get QA approvals on all the new information.

o   Upload all approved information into Vendor Central.

·         Product Detail Page optimization analysis:

o   Collect orders and shipment data on the list of titles for which the detail page is being updated.

o   Determine a control group.

o   Develop metrics and reports measuring the impact of the PDP updates over a certain period against the control group.

·         Merchandising Efficiency Analysis:

o   Capture screen shots on a daily/weekly basis of all our Promotional and New Release features on Amazon and AIV.

o   Create and log the merch. placement details and tie placement to promotional & New release activity tracking documents.

o   Tie placement to sales performance: establish metrics and benchmarks to try and determine optimal promotional placement.

·         Amazon Media Group (AMG) competitive tracker:

o   Capture competitive AMG activity supporting releases in the home entertainment window.

o   Provide recap to the sale team.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·         Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student in a college or university and in good academic standing (3.0 gpa or higher).

·         Be majoring in either Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Information Systems, E-Commerce or a directly related field of study.

·         Must have proficient computer skills; Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook preferred.

This scholar is expected to work effectively with AASC staff members, members of the AASC Faculty Advisory Committee, and campus leadership to develop internal priorities. This individual needs to maximize external visibility of AASC through building bridges between UCLA and Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, strengthening intercampus collaboration, in relation to research and community partnerships.
